I hope you enjoyed it. I don't really have one favorite film of all time, but Blade Runner is definitely on my short list. (It also has one of my favorite last scenes.) I've seen the director's cut in the theater a couple of times. First in Portland (Maine) with just one other person in the theater. And the second time a few years later at the Castro in SF. (I also saw the original release with voiceover + irritating happy ending a couple of times on 16 mm in college.) Appropriately enough, I saw this most recent release in midtown and walked to the theater through the neon of Times Square in the rain. It really makes a difference with a movie as visual as this one to see a beautiful, cleaned up print on the big screen.
[this is good]
We saw it on Friday night. Good stuff!
