Added two books to my library today: Bansky: Wall and Piece and Mountaineering: The Freedom of the Hills. The former came from the excellent Park Life on Clement. Also picked up some new threads.
Banksy is genius, the mountaineering book is effectively the bible, in its 7th edition. One will go on the coffee table (if I had one), and the other bedside.
Been thinking about this for a while, and finally settled on doing it. I want to be lead climbing by the end of the summer.
Edit: Chris and I tried an exercise today at the gym: climb every route with a particular rating, without stopping. We started with 10 5.9s, and succeeded. Next time it’s either every 5.10a or every 5.9, twice.
