...I added Mark’s blog as a favorite. Primarily because it’s awesome, and also because of his tagline about bacon. <3
To favorite someone’s blog, you’ll need Firefox with Firebug installed.
- Open someone’s blog and view source.
-
Look for an HTML comment like this:
<!-- Asset Stream 6a00b8ea0717f31bc000b8ea0717f51bc0 --> - Copy the asset ID (the 6aNNNN... number).
-
Run this command from the Firebug console (with the above ID):
app.c.addAssetAsFavorite( { asset_id: "6aNNNN..." } ) - Check your favorites. It should now be listed!
Just being able to poach liberally from anywhere on Vox is. Awesome. Dear Tatushiko, thanks!
Dear ad-blocking users,
Please disable your janky Firefox extension. It breaks what we work so hard to bring you. For free. Additionally, it kills kittens and gives you warts.
Love,

- I decided that climbing Mount Everest is going to have to be done at some point.
- I smelled autumn for the first time this year yesterday, biking to work through South Park. It brought back memories of raking leaves, halloween, school starting and growing up. Nice thoughts.
- Artur and/or Ernie are going to pay for the CPU-pegging Barbie ad that's showing up on my Compose page right now. I've had to retype half this post three times because it deletes 100 chars everytime I hit Backspace.
- Cycletouring on a track bike: I think it's possible, at least if you're staying in hotels and travelling in a 1st-world country. The equipment/clothing/stuff manifest you'd need should fit comfortably in a messenger bag. Hm...
- Happy Birthday Ben!
What are the 5 words that best describe your life right now?
Question submitted by mojito.
Patience, refinement, cooking, Pista, Vox.
The first two because life is a process. Cooking because it's currently my favorite thing to do at home. Pista and Vox should be obvious. :)
Having watched the excellent trailer for the upcoming second remake of the first James Bond film, I noticed this post elsewhere on Vox using strong language to refer to the referee who set a World Cup record of red and yellow cards doled out in a single game.
Anyway, these blokes look alike. Since I didn't do much in the way of answering yesterday's QOTD, I present for your viewing pleasure:
Edit: Added link to first version of Casino Royale, the made-for-TV movie (not the Peter Sellers spoof).
